Poleeto is an Irish political hub. Our aim is to create an political international social network that promotes discussion amongst citizens, and between their elected representatives, through interactive debates and dedicated politician and party profiles. Furthermore, we seek to make politics simple to understand. Poleeto has dedicated "Government" pages that dissect the functions and operations of national governments, allowing users to locate and contact their local representatives; discover the breakdown of power in parliament, like the make up of cabinet ministers and party seats; and instantly compare major and minor political parties' ideologies to allow for more informed decision making at the ballot box. We believe political apathy and ignorance can be reduced by providing a platform that brings elected representatives and voters closer together via the internet; and by presenting political information in an objective, digestible, visually compelling way.
