Vicinity Systems create next generation SatNav technologies which enable electric cars to travel further and to consume less power. The company’s technology works through the analysis of all potential routes in terms of road gradient, traffic, and other factors, in order to show the most power efficient route. In 2012 Vicinity’s technology was validated when it won a major international technology award from the European Space Agency.
